Our baby chicks will soon be hatching! See the eggs in the incubator starting April 17, and watch for the white leghorn chicks to hatch in early May.

Visit the Kids & Teens department to:

  • Observe the eggs
  • Meet the baby chicks
  • Participate with activities in the WouldShop
  • Attend the Mini-Scientist Academy event on April 21
  • Learn more about incubation, eggs, and chickens

A: To keep the baby chicks healthy and safe, we will not be holding the chicks at this time.

A: Some of the eggs already have names given to them by the Darien Dragons 4H Club, but we will gladly accept your ideas for names.
