Computer Classes Registration A Big Success

March 11th, 2010

This past Saturday was our biggest sign-up day ever.  We had over 150 spots filled within the first four hours of registration.  Most classes filled up fast, so that’s why we recommend to come into the library early the day of registration.  There were four classes that filled up really fast so we will be opening up additional classes to fill most of the slots on the existing wait list.  Classes are limited to twelve students and we take an additional names to be put on a limited wait list case of a cancellation.  We only call people on the wait list if we get cancellations, but the day of the class we sometimes get a no show or two, so if you are on the wait list we do suggest coming in on the day of the class in case there is a no show.   If you do not get to attend the class you will need to re-register when we offer the classes again.  Classes are offered throughout the year so look for them in the library’s seasonal newsletters or check our Web site for future classes.
