Spring Incubation Project
This spring, the library partnered with the Darien Dragons 4-H Club for an incubation project with two dozen White Leghorn eggs. Only a small percentage of eggs were expected to hatch, but unfortunately, none of the eggs in this year’s project hatched. Although the project did not turn out as expected, it still provided a unique educational opportunity for students and the community to learn more about incubation, eggs, and chickens.
