Summer is in Full Swing at IPPL

Discover Mission Math this summer. Mission Math is a summer program for kids from Pre-K to 8th grade, that lets kids practice math and collect prizes. Download a packet here or come into the library to pick one up.

While you're here, get started with your Summer Challenge. Everyone can participate in a challenge this summer. The Summer Challenge runs from June 1 through August 4. You can read, learn, have fun, and win prizes!

· Early Literacy Challenge for kids birth–kindergarten

· Reading Challenge, the Music Challenge, and/or the Outdoor Challenge for grades 1–6

· Teen Challenge for grades 7–12

· Adult Challenge

In addition to the Challenges, we will also be providing interactive learning opportunities all summer, including events such as STEAM Stories, LEGO Robotics, Build a VR World, Chess Club, Book Buddies, family storytimes, and our Teen Taught Tech Club. We're also offering a whole set of outdoor labs in the Prairie Patch– Art Lab, Science Lab, Math Lab, and a Pollinators Lab.

Summer learning is critical for students. Reading and learning throughout the summer helps students to retain knowledge and skills learned in the previous school year and sets them up for success in the future.
