Early Literacy
These resources can help pre-k through kindergarten-aged children work on their early reading skills.
LOTE Online for Kids is an online resource with digital books in world languages that allows kids to enjoy the magic of books in languages other than English (LOTE).
- Enjoy thousands of digital picture books in 65+ languages.
- Each book also comes with English translations to help kids learn the language.

ABCmouse Early Learning Academy offers a comprehensive online curriculum for children ages 2–8, including reading and language arts, math, beginning science, social studies, art, and music.
- 10,000 interactive, highly engaging learning activities including books, educational games, puzzles, art activities, songs, and music videos.
- More than 1,200 of these 10,000 learning activities are in Spanish and over 2,000 of them are STEM learning activities. And, 2,000 book titles can be accessed by age level, guided reading level, or Lexile level.
- Parents have access to the Assessment Center which creates customized lessons that are targeted to help a child improve in specific skill areas identified by the assessments.
- Add several children in the same household—all at the same time—each with their own avatar, profile, and progress tracking.

Elementary School Research and Elementary School eBook Collection support elementary school students, which includes encyclopedias specifically for kids, articles from children's magazines including Highlights and Junior Scholastic, and a large image collection.

Resources and eBooks to support elementary and middle school students, including biographies, magazines, primary source documents, photos, maps, and flags. Includes Sports Illustrated Kids, Scholastic News, National Geographic, and dozens more. Articles include reading level indicators (Lexile).

Computers and printers
Access the internet, word processing software, and more for homework using IPPL computers or portable laptops available on each floor. Print documents from a computer or even wirelessly through your phone.

Learn something new and access equipment and tools to help with projects like a button maker, poster printer, and more in this space.

Provides access to college admissions services through online guidance counselors and resources for applications, financial aid, and admissions interviews.
