Whether you are going to school or learning at home, we can help!
Need help with reading?
Join one of our Out-Loud Reading Clubs. Out-Loud Reading Clubs are judgement-free safe spaces for kids who want to get really good at reading. There are a number of clubs based on Lexile scores.
Sign up for our Pet Reading Challenge and earn digital badges for reading aloud to your pet. We also have a new Antiracist Reading Challenge for ages 12-18. Sign up here for both of them.
Need help doing research for school? Do you need a tutor?
We also compiled a list of local tutors for all ages. Students can search for tutors based on subject, grade, and even tutoring format (i.e. Zoom, Google, Skype). Tutors interested in joining the list can fill out the form to become part of our tutoring community. Tutors on the list are not specifically endorsed or recommended by the library. The information provided is a community service to connect students and tutors.
Tutoring help also is available through Brainfuse HelpNow. Work with a live tutor daily from 2- 11 p.m.
In addition, we have a variety of databases for all ages. Databases pull together reliable information. Explore what we have to offer by ages.
